PSYCHO.unit was formed in 2007 by islanders Daddy Shaq, Rabbit.Mac and Cub’ally. What started off as a modest music production company of three eventually evolved into an 10-piece, multi-talented troop which lead to the expansion of the company. Now, in addition to the music works, PSYCHO.unit also does design, photography and runs a highly successful clothing line. That’s right, PSYCHOLOGIKAL Apparels.

Fun, outrageous, wacky, wild. Pure talent in 10 avatars. City boys we may be, but we keep our beloved island close to our hearts. PSYCHO.unit now has recording studios in both the North and Central regions of Malaysia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our group’s fame kicked off with the release of a controversial underground album, “PROVOKED” in 2008, which brought on somewhat of a cultureshock to the usually ‘tame’ Malaysian Indian music scene. This sparked interest in eager youths, who were ready for a revolution in Malaysian Hip-Hop music; sparks which turned into a raging wildre. In 2009, the commercial album Rabbit.Mac’s “MA CARROTZ” only served to fuel this phenomenon further. To date, PSYCHO.unit collectively have 46,000 fans on Facebook, and the numbers are rapidly growing as you read.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
The idea of “Rabbit And Friendz” is an album that attempts to introduce a variety of music genres packed in one music album. “Rabbit And Friendz” is also a compilation album of all PSYCHO.unit’s artistes, featuring a single from their respective upcoming solo albums.
